Branden Albert will be out of Sundays game according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald. Its  doesn’t come as a surpise to me because it makes total sense for him to rest this week and go into the bye week to focus solely on recovering and making sure that he is 100% heading into Week 6. Albert has been frustrated with this whole process, but he is more important to us when he’s fully healthy. Jason Fox will most likely get the starting nod on Sunday against the Jets in London. Fox has struggled every game he’s been in and Sunday is going to be no different. The Jets a great front line so Fox is going to have to elevate his play and Make sure that Tannehill’s blindside is covered.

The Dolphins need to formulate a better game plan heading into Sunday to help this line out. Tannehill was getting killed against the Bills, the Jets will probably try and blitz our line until they prove that they can withstand the rush. With Albert gone look for the left side to be a weakness the Jets will try to exploit. Some draw plays and double TE packages on early downs to get positive yards will be a huge factor in getting something going on offense. The Fins also can’t be scared to run the ball, even if they nothing on 1st or 2nd down. They have to keep the Jets honest on defense and in time the big plays will come.

If anyone caught last nights game I sure you’ll be surprised to see a familiar face on the Ravens defense playing exceptionally well. That’s right Will Davis (who couldn’t find the field in Miami) has made an impact on his current team already. Last night he had a key tackle on Antonio Brown in the open field on 3rd down and another pass deflection to end another drive. When he was with Miami the coaching staff always tried to play him on the outside, it only took a week for the Ravens to find a home for him in the slot were he is thriving after one game. After the game Will Davis tweeted “Ozzie Newsome… I thank you” (Newsome is the Ravens GM). What does that tell you about the coaching staff in Miami and their ability to develop talent.

It hurts because of the horrible play we have in our secondary this year outside of R. Jones and B. Grimes. Will Davis is going to join a list of corners that the Dolphins either traded or didn’t resign that have found success in other organizations. Sean Smith left in Free Agency after 4 seasons in Miami to become the Chiefs best CB. Vonte Davis was traded to the Colts and has been playing great since his arrival there, last season he was graded as one of the NFLs best cornerbacks. Meanwhile in Miami we are stuck with Jamar Taylor and Brice McCain who says comments like this.

I guess we will have to wait and see if Will Davis continues his play because if he does then that would be really sad for this organization. A lot of people liked Will Davis especially after his final preseason game with the Dolphins when he had 2 INTs. I sure hope that this secondary play picks up because if Davis continues to grow it’ll just be another black eye to add to the list of hits this team has taken.
